Google Chrome Browser Settings: Google Chrome is one of the most widely used browsers, but it also tracks many of your online activities. For instance, after searching for something on Chrome, you may notice advertisements related to your search popping up. If you want to stop this from happening, you will need to adjust your settings.
According to information shared on the Google Support portal, here’s how you can make these adjustments:
For Desktop Users:
1. Open Chrome on your computer.
2. In the top right corner, click on More (three dots) and select Settings.
3. Go to Privacy and Security, then select Third-party cookies.
4. Toggle the option to Send a “Do Not Track” request with your browsing traffic to On or Off, depending on your preference.
For Android Users:
1. Open Chrome on your Android device.
2. Tap the More (three dots) icon to the right of the address bar and select Settings.
3. Tap Privacy and Security.
4. Enable or disable the Send a “Do Not Track” request option.
For iPhone and iPad Users:
Currently, the “Do Not Track” feature is not available for iPhones or iPads.
